Oi.
Press your hotkey from anywhere. Oi turns up, cursor blinking, ready to listen. Press it again and it’s gone.
A tiny Mac app for getting your agent’s attention
OI.
GOT A
MINUTE?
Hit a hotkey. Ask your agent something. Send it off and get back to whatever you were doing. Oi will give you a nudge when it’s finished.
Tell me when it’s readyComing soon for Mac. No ceremony required.
The entire process, more or less
ASK. SEND.
CARRY ON.
No switching apps, no hunting for the right chat, no opening yet another conversation. You had a thought. Hand it over and move along.
Say what you want.
Ask a question, hand over a job, or stay and have a proper conversation if it turns out to be one of those.
Bugger off.
Close Oi and keep working. The menu bar will let you know when your agent has something worth coming back for.
A thought, while you’re here
YOUR AGENT DOESN’T NEED ANOTHER HOME.
IT NEEDS A DOORBELL.
Oi isn’t where your agent lives. It’s how you get its attention, and how it gets yours back.
Before you get your hopes up
FAIR
QUESTIONS.
Asked politely. Answered honestly.
Is Oi an AI?
No. Oi is the doorbell, not the house. It talks to the personal AI agents you already run, and stays out of the way the rest of the time.
Can I have a proper conversation in it?
Yes. Most of the time you’ll fire off a request and leave, but the chat stays put if you’d rather hang about. Got more than one agent? Switch between them without lifting your hands off the keyboard.
How do I know when it’s finished?
Oi sits in your menu bar and lets you know when an agent has an answer, or needs one from you. No pinging, no bouncing, no fuss.
When can I have it?
Soon. It’s being used daily by the person who built it, which is how the rough edges get found. Say the word and we’ll tell you when it’s ready. One email, then we’ll leave you alone.
Want to know when?

IT’S READY.
One email the day Oi is ready to download. After that, only the odd update worth knowing about.
